- Must demonstrate annual income of at least CI$120,000 without employment
- No right to work in the Cayman Islands
- Holder and dependents can reside in Cayman
- Popular pathway for retirees and remote professionals
Certificate of Direct Investment
Business investors & entrepreneursDuration: 25 years, renewable
- For those making a substantial direct investment in a Cayman business
- The business must generate employment opportunities for Caymanians
- Holder permitted to be actively involved in the business
- A pathway for entrepreneurs who want to establish in Cayman
Permanent Residence
Long-term residents (8+ years legal residency)Duration: Permanent
- Points-based system requiring 110 points across 9 categories
- Categories include: occupation, education, local investments, financial stability
- Also considers community integration, history/culture test, Caymanian connections
- Demographics, cultural diversity, and age also factor in
- Points can be deducted for certain factors
